Live drawings made at Mme Jo Jo’s, Soho during the 11 years or so it prospered as home to Keb Darge and Jimbo ‘Raw Deal’ Robins’ Deep Funk and Groove Sanctuary dance nights.

At that time, both Mme Jo Jo’s in Soho, and Southport Weekender, in it’s original location at Pontins-by-the-Sea, were both going strong. The dancers depicted in this sketch would typically ‘rock-up’ and ‘fling foot’ at both events.
