I call these images 'live clubscapes'. Recent Images in charcoal and pastel made 'on location' in dance-clubs and live music events. Participation as well as observation feed the outcome (2010-2020).
The Aura Of The Era - Southport ‘22
Drawn/painted in artists pastels straight after Southport Weekender 2022, at Butlins, Bognor Regis, when the Sounds and Images were still fresh. Featuring DJ Andy Ward. Pastel and charcoal on blue Canson Paper 75cm x 55cm. From ‘Secrets Of Southport’, - a series of 8 new artworks exploring and celebrating the Happenings of Southport 22, - which have not been published or exhibited until now (March 2023). A Ltd number of Pre-order, individual prints are available before this year’s event kicks off on March 17th.
